The penalties and other numerous mistakes certainly didn't boost confidence either.Putting all the mistakes aside the G-men looked like the ones we know the rest of the afternoon. Good long drives with solid running games from Ahmad Bradshaw and Brandon Jacobs to finish them off And Eli Manning looked better than ever. But at least the field goal team actually did its job so I won't blame it solely on the offsides call or the missed field goal earlier in the game.It was until the Chargers final drive that the Giants looked like the team they are capable of being. The defense did not show that on the final drive though and in result a beautiful ball by the man they traded for Eli, Phillip Rivers, fell into the hands of Vincent Jackson as they put the sleeping Giants back to bed, where they were at the begininng of this game. The looming question now is whether or not the former 2007 World? Champs can salvage their season. They do have a bye week, so that's a start. If they can fix up the problems and get their act together I see why they can't make the playoffs or become an elite team again. They have alot of work to do this week if? either of those goals can be accomplished. The hard work obviously starts this week at practice, but Thanksgiving Night is where? New York can start fresh. At home against the? Falcons? is there first test for the second half of the year. A plus for New York is that it hasn't been cold yet, a temperature in which teams show their? real colors and when it's cold the New York Football Giants show their real colors, True Blue.? .
