CDW-G equipped 300department land and water vehicles with Panasonic Toughbook CF-30 notebooks, enabling officers in four of ODNRs divisions - forestry, parks and recreation, watercraft and wildlife - to immediately access critical data in the field, improving internal communications and public safety. This vast geographical area of responsibilitycalled for a mobile technology solution that would enable anytime, anywherecommunication between officers in the field and headquarters dispatch in allweather conditions, as well as access to sophisticated software applicationsproviding law enforcement, topographical and global positioning satellite (GPS)data. The departments previous technology solution was outdated and not robustenough to meet officers needs in the field and, as a result, officers routinelyrelied on dispatch for information, overtaxing the lean staff. Working with CDW-G, ODNR selected the Panasonic Toughbook CF-30, which is rain-,spill-, dust- and vibration-resistant and enables rapid, real-time wirelesscommunication.
Its optimized display allows officers to access information ineven the harshest lighting conditions. "From sub-zero temperaturesto extreme heat conditions to the rigors of off-road driving, day in and dayout, the Toughbooks provide our officers with near-instant communication andback-end system efficiency that allows us to better protect our citizens alongwith our rivers, lakes, forest and wildlife. Our ability to enter data directlyinto the Toughbooks instead of running information via radio to dispatch hasimproved operational efficiency for ODNR." Understanding that the ODNR needed a solid mounting solution that couldwithstand the daily rigors of driving in varying highway and off-roadsituations, CDW-G called on its partner LEDCO, a leading provider of ruggedcomputer mounting systems to law enforcement, public safety and emergencyfleets. CDW-G and LEDCO identified the optimal mounting solution to ensure thatthe Toughbooks remained safe, secure and easily accessible within the vehiclesat all times.

Before I get to the point and you watch the clip from the Washington/Atlanta game this weekend of the incident? near the end of the first half: http:// off as much as I hate to say it, Landry did hit Ryan when he was out of bounds.? From that point this entire saga? spirals out of control.? DeAngelo came over picks up Landry and get him pointed back towards the field of play.? Somewhere in this 51 Tony Gilbert starts either jaw-jacking to get Halls attention.? When that happens one of coaches for Atlanta, aka the bald dude, grabs Hall's jersey.By this point both Ryan and Landry? are? back towards the middle of the field waiting for the? penalty enforcement and to continue the game.? During that time Hall is pulled farther into the Atlanta bench by bald dude while being surrounded by the rest of the Falcons.? Once the clip is slowed down a bit I saw Hall trying to back away but couldn't get away because the Atlanta coach has him by the collar of the jersey and is surrounded.? Finally a referee and Justin Tryon get Hall pulled away and then Michael Smith, the Falcons' head coach, grabs him and starts jawing at Hall.? Halls shoves? Smith off, which makes it look like they scuffled with each other before both are pulled away.? Than big Albert breaks the fight up by shoving another Falcon which moves the crowd of people back towards the bench.I've honestly seen no one come to Hall's defense on this and to me it's clearly the Atlanta Falcons that incite incident farther.? Hall had nothing to do with the play itself other than being on the field.? ? I've seen this incident twisted to the point? that since Hall? was a former? Falcon that he? was? trying to incite something at that time.? ? ? Hall? did the right thing in getting his teammate, Laron Landry away from the Falcons bench.? Before this I respected the Atlanta Falcons but not so anymore.? They now rate right up there with the Dallas Cowboys and New England Patriots with my hatred.? This was unclassy incident that has Hall, not Smith or the Falcons,? wondering whether he's going to be fined or not.? ? So Redskins fans defend our player, it is the right thing to do.? ? ? .
